Why ‘Me Time’ for Mums Is Not a Luxury (It’s a Lifeline)

Prioritising yourself postpartum isn’t selfish. It’s survival. Here’s why taking a break (or sneaking in a Pilates sesh) is basically the best thing you can do—for everyone.


  • Save Your Sanity: Your brain is juggling nappies, feeds, and life. Pilates = a mental reset.

  • Feel Human Again: Remember when you didn’t ache all over? Movement helps. And yes, PJs count as workout gear.

  • Set the Tone: Self-care isn’t just a buzzword. Show your kiddos it’s cool to take care of yourself.

  • Avoid the Burnout Train: Can’t pour from an empty cup, right? Pilates fills yours up just enough.

  • Reconnect With You: You’re more than “Mum.” Moving your body can remind you of who you are underneath the spit-up.
